Israel/Palestine Index of Links

The purpose of this resource is to simplify researching information on the Internet regarding the Israel/Palestine and the Israel/Arab conflict by assembling in systematic order a detailed catalog of list of credible Internet links relating to all aspects of the conflict. This would include list with broad categories as well as specific issues. For example, we will try to assemble a list in one category links to all human rights organizations that relate to the Israel/Palestine conflict, and we will also try to assemble a list links to pertinent material relating to housing demolition.

Another example - we will try to assemble a list of links to credible material regarding the Nakba, and we will try to make a list of links to specific issues such as the Deir Yassin massacre.

We will ask those who contribute to this special page to try to keep the links in a systematic order by listing first by topic and then alphabetically. We will ask every contributor to give the links a separate “pop-up” window to make it easy for people to do research.

We will ask to those who wish to contribute to limit themselves to links they have personally checked out thoroughly and found to be strong, accurate and credible sources.

When the name of the site is self-explanatory like for example: "The Israeli Committee Against House Demolition" You can just list the site along with the link. When the name is not self-explanatory - for example, The Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group (PHMRG) Please give a short explanation. For example: Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group (PHMRG) – A distinctly Palestinian organization that monitors human rights abuses on both sides. They are particularly aggressive and meticulous about monitoring human rights abuses committed by the Palestinian Authority or Palestinian organizations.

Our goal with this particular resource is to create an "encyclopedia of links" relating to the Israel/Palestine issue - hopefully links that are reasonably credible sources and links that work. I do find that links change their web addresses and occasionally just disappear.

Based on my own experience this idea has the potential to become a genuine research aid to those involved with the issue.
